Okay, so you are afraid you’re going to lose your housing.

 

There are many things that can cause a family to become homeless. Many of these problems or issues may be circumstances you have no control over. While this may be the case, try to take control over the issues that you can work on. So, save your money for your rent and let us walk you around to some resources that may help you manage your monthly expenses and get you the help you need.

IF YOU HAVE NO INCOME OR MONEY
Where is all your money going? Do you have enough money to take care of your family’s basic necessities?
If the answer is no, click on food, clothes or medical care.

Do you have enough income to make ends meet every month?
If the answer is no, click on I need Education and Employment services

Are you about to lose your job because you have no childcare?
If the answer is yes, click on I need Childcare Resources

Is there someone hurting you, putting you down, calling you names or making you feel unsafe?
If yes, click on Domestic Violence for more information on the signs of domestic violence and a place to go when you are ready to leave.

If you are ready to leave your abuser and want to know how, click on I am tired of being a victim.

Are you using drugs, aren’t sure if you are addicted, want to attend an Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meeting or want help to get clean and sober?
If the answer is yes, click on I need help getting clean and sober.

 
 


MAKE A BUDGET FOR YOUR FAMILY
One of the first steps to figuring out what you need, is figuring out what you don’t have. You can do this by making a budget of what you spend every month. Be honest about how much money you spend and what you spend your money on. By the end of the month you should know what you are spending your money on and what you need more money for.
