CONNECTING POINT: THE FAMILY SHELTER ACCESS CENTER
Connecting Point of Compass Community Services is an information and support center available to any homeless or nearly homeless family in San Francisco. The center provides centralized intake and assessment to the City’s family shelters, access the referral and crisis support services, food, tokens, clothing, Internet research and other resources.
COMPASS FAMILY CENTER

Private rooms in residential hotel.

Maximum stay is 90 days (w/o permission).

Must comply with case management requirements.

Families need to save 75% of their income.

Children must be supervised at all times.

Children (5 years +) must attend school.

One dinner a week is provided.
-
No domestic violence situations.
-
No visitors.
-
No curfew.
-
No pets, violence or drugs. If using, must be in treatment.
HAMILTON FAMILY RESIDENCES

Private rooms with shared bathrooms.

Maximum stay is 90 days (w/o permission).

Must comply with case management requirements.

Families need to save 75% of their income.

Children must be supervised at all times.

Children (5 years +) must attend school.
-
Three meals served during scheduled hours.
-
No domestic violence situations.

Visitors permitted during scheduled hours.

Curfew is 9:00 p.m.

No pets, violence or drugs.
RAPHAEL HOUSE*

Private rooms in separate building.

Must comply with case management requirements.

Families need to save 80% of their income.

Children must be supervised at all times.

Children (5 years +) must attend school.

Chores are assigned to families.

No domestic violence situations.

Visitors only allowed in the lobby area.

Curfew is 5:45 p.m.

No pets, violence or drugs (inc. methadone).

If using, must be in treatment.

Three meals served during scheduled hours.

ST. JOSEPH’S VILLAGE

Private and semi-private rooms in former convent.

Maximum stay is 90 days (w/o permission).

Must comply with case management requirements.

Families need to save 50 - 75% of their income.

Children must be supervised at all times.

Children (5 years +) must attend school.

Three meals served during scheduled hours.

No domestic violence situations.

Visitors permitted during scheduled hours.

Curfew is 10:00 p.m. on weekdays and 12:00 p.m. on weekends.
